Prefolds are similar to the cloth diapers our mothers and grandmothers used. The most common cloth diapers used before were Flats, which were basically square pieces of cloth. Prefolds bring the convenience level up one notch by being sewn with varying layers of thickness, with more layers in the middle or the wet-zone.
Prefolds require minimal folding, and can be pinned, dipped or fastened with a Stapp, or simply laid flat on a diaper cover. Prefolds are affordable, easy to care for, fit a wide range of body types and sizes, and are incredibly versatile. They can be used as inserts in pocket diapers, as doublers for heavy-wetters, or as burp pads. They are the classic, dependable diapers that have withstood the test of time.
Diaper Service Quality (DSQ) prefolds are made of high-quality fabric, are extremely durable, and will last through countless numbers of washings and multiple children.
Prefold diapers are not waterproof, so you will need to use a diaper cover with them.
